Hello!
My name is Asa Gauen, and I am a visual artist living and working in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Yardbox Films is my documentary video practice. I love making short films about projects and organizations in my community. I've worked with schools, museums, small businesses, and nonprofits throughout my community.
I'm an Indiana native, though I lived and worked in New York City for over ten years before coming home. I hold an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (2009) and a BFA in Photography from Indiana University (2001). Yardbox Films is proudly based in Indianapolis, where I work out of studio 075 at The Harrison Center.
